Volunteers will be in charge of controlling movement of people in, through, and out of the display area.
This event is seeking 4 volunteers, stationed at different sections of the displays to ensure visitor safety, including enforcement of COVID-19 protocols like social distancing.
Volunteers must have confidence to ask people in groups to break up and move along.
Volunteer 1: At the entrance to the hall, you will hand out a flyer about our displays to each visitor. The flyer will also have information about COVID. You will control how many visitors get into the hall at any one time, and you will have a supply of masks to give to those not wearing one.
Volunteer 2: You will be positioned along the first wall inside the hall. You will ensure that visitors don't "bunch up" along the path that will be marked in the hall.
Volunteer 3: You will be near the stage. You will ensure that visitors don't "bunch up" along the path.
Volunteer 4: You will be near the exit to the refreshments area. You will ensure that visitors don't "bunch up" along the path.
This one-time position will require volunteers to be available to attend the Veterans celebration on October 24, 2020.
